Dr.T.N.UMA MAHESWARI is working as a Professor in the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology. Her association with Saveetha University dates back from2002to till date. She has 16 years of PG teaching experience and was conferred D.Sc [Honoris Causa] in Oral Medicine by International Agency for Standards and Ratings . She is the Editor - in -Chief for the International Journal of Forensic odontology. She is a recognised Ph.D guide. She is recipient of nineteen awards namely Global Faculty Conclave and Award, Excellence in forensic odontology, Outstanding Scientist award, Life time achievement award, Young Educator and Researcher Award, Outstanding Faculty in Health and Medical Sciences, Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam Award for Teaching Excellence, Young Educator and Researcher Award, Best Dissertation Award and Best Paper awards. She also received a title MABMS (MEMBERSHIP OF INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF BIOMEDICAL SCIENTIST) for her contribution in the field of Biomedicine.
